# Updated: New Tuudo app and loan renewal

> An update regarding the functionality of loan renewals and library card access within the new Tuudo app for Savonia AMK students.

## Loan Renewals in Tuudo

**10.12. Update:**
Now the loans can be renewed in Tuudo as well. Click on your loan and select "renew loan." Make sure you get a new due date. 

You cannot renew the loan if:
* There is a reservation for it.
* The loan has already been on loan for a year.
* You have fees of €10 or more.

If you have many loans, you can renew them faster via [Savonia-Finna](https://savonia.finna.fi/) > Your Account > Checked Out Items > Renew All.

## Previous Status (21.11.)

There are still changes coming to the new Tuudo. All loans and due dates are currently not visible in Tuudo and renewing loans in Tuudo is not possible yet. You can see your loans and renew your loans in [Savonia-Finna](https://savonia.finna.fi/) or by contacting the library.

## Library Card Access

The library card does not work for everyone through the new Tuudo. You can use your library card found in Savonia-Finna:

1. Log in to [Savonia-Finna](https://savonia.finna.fi/).
2. Go to "Your Account."
3. Click the library card barcode.
