> According to the legislation in Finland, the appeal can be made within 14 days of publishing the results of student admission.

## Appeal process in student selection

An appeal can only be made if it can be demonstrated that Savonia UAS has made an error in the admission process or has not followed the applicable admission criteria.

## Grounds for appeal

An appeal cannot be based on:
* personal circumstances
* a difficult life situation
* a misunderstanding
* health reasons
* technical errors during the application process

The appeal must be well-grounded and clearly state how Savonia UAS has failed to follow the applicable admission criteria. The student admission decision can only be changed if it can be clearly demonstrated that Savonia UAS has not followed the admission criteria.

## Submission and contact information

According to Finnish legislation, an appeal must be submitted within 14 days of the publication of the student admission results. 

However, if you believe that an error has been made in your admission process, please contact Savonia UAS Admission Services (admissions@savonia.fi) before submitting an appeal. Explain your case to Admission Services, and they will advise you on whether there are grounds for an appeal.
