# Selection method: certificate grades – Savonia UAS

## Direct Application for studies starting in autumn 2027

## Application Instructions
*   **Application period:** Started on 1 October 2025.
*   **Application deadline:** The application period to each degree programme ends once the group is full, on 31 July 2026 at the latest. The application period closed on 31 July 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time.
*   **Application Fee:** Applicants from outside the EU, EEA or Switzerland are required to pay an application fee. Please read more information about the application fee on Studyinfo.
*   **Application Limit:** It is possible to apply to only one degree programme with one application. If the applicant fills in several applications, only the 1st application remains valid.

## Required Attachments
Required attachments must be uploaded to the application form when submitting the application form:
*   **Copies of final certificates:** Documents that give eligibility to apply to Higher Education studies. If you graduate during spring/summer 2026, please upload a transcript of study records. The degree must be completed by 31 July 2026 and the final degree certificate must be submitted by 14 August 2026.
*   **Proof of English language skills:** Note! If the applicant does not have a required proof of English language skills, she/he can still apply. Such applicant is invited to the online interview if her/his grades meet the requirements.
*   **Official ID/Passport:** A copy of an official ID or passport, which is valid at least until 1 October 2025.

## Student Selection Process
*   Students are selected on the basis of certificate grades.
*   Only certain certificates from specific countries are accepted.
*   Each applicant is evaluated individually on the basis of documents submitted on the application form.
*   The admission process is based on rolling admission, and the number of study places to each degree programme is limited. The applications will be processed in order of arrival.

## Acceptance and Enrollment
*   **Confirming the study place:** Study place must be confirmed within 7 days of being accepted as a student.
*   **Tuition fees:** Those who are obligated to pay the tuition fee will receive instructions on how to pay. The tuition fee must be fully paid within 14 days of being accepted as a student.
*   **Start of studies:** Studies will begin in the end of August 2026.
*   **Registration:** Students must register as present or absent for the academic year by 31 August 2026 either in person on campus or by authenticating online through the Candour service.
