## Different ways to apply to Savonia UAS

Savonia UAS offers different ways how to apply to degree programmes conducted in English. All application periods for studies starting in autumn 2026 have ended. Information on the next application round will be updated to the website by the end of September 2026.

### Direct Application, selection method: SAT
Application period is open. This application is targeted for those, who have taken an SAT test and want to secure the study place at early stage.

### Direct Application, selection method: entrance examination
Application period is closed. This application is targeted for those, who have already completed the higher secondary degree and live in Finland or outside of Finland and are able to participate in the entrance exam on Savonia UAS campus in Kuopio/Varkaus.

### Direct Application, selection method: certificate grades
Application period is open. In this application you can be admitted to Savonia UAS on the basis of your higher secondary degree grades. Please note, that an acceptable English language certificate is also required.

### Direct Application, selection method: video interview
Application period closed. In this application you can be admitted to Savonia UAS on the basis of a video interview. Please note, that an acceptable English language certificate is also required.

### Joint Application spring 2026, selection method: International UAS Exam
Application period is closed. The joint application to higher education studies in English in Finland.
