> Direct Application for studies starting in autumn 2026, selection method: entrance examination.

## Application Period and Process
*   **Application Period:** 7 January 2026 to 31 March 2026.
*   **Submission:** Application form must be submitted in Studyinfo by 31 March 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time.
*   **Application Fee:** Applicants from outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland are required to pay an application fee.
*   **Attachments Deadline:** 7 April 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time.
    *   Copies of final certificates giving eligibility to apply to Higher Education studies.
    *   Copy of an official ID / passport (valid at least until 7 January 2026).

## Entrance Examination Details
*   **Date:** 15 April 2026.
*   **Location:** Microkatu campus, Kuopio or Varkaus (Industrial Management).
*   **Note:** The entrance examination is organized only in Finland. It is not possible to participate online or in any other location.
*   **Invitation:** Sent by email at least a week before the exam.

### Individual Arrangements
Applicants may request individual arrangements due to illness, disability, dyslexia, or other specific reasons. Requests must be submitted by 7 April 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Finnish time, accompanied by a medical certificate or equivalent attestation.

## Degree Programme Specifics

### Bachelor of Business Administration, International Business
*   **Location:** Microkatu campus, Kuopio.
*   **Schedule:** Registration at 12:30 p.m., exam 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
*   **Content:** Reading comprehension (multiple choice), writing task, mathematical-logical questions (multiple choice).
*   **Requirements:** Valid ID/passport, pencil, and eraser. Calculators are not permitted.

### Bachelor of Engineering, Industrial Management
*   **Location:** Varkaus campus.
*   **Schedule:** Registration at 12:30 p.m., exam 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
*   **Content:** English language skills, mathematical and scientific reasoning, and suitability for the field.
*   **Requirements:** Valid ID/passport, pencil, eraser, and ruler. Calculators are provided by Savonia UAS; personal calculators are not permitted.

### Bachelor of Engineering, Information Technology (Internet of Things)
*   **Location:** Microkatu campus, Kuopio.
*   **Schedule:** Registration at 12:30 p.m., exam 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
*   **Content:** English language skills, mathematical and scientific reasoning, and suitability for the field.
*   **Requirements:** Valid ID/passport, pencil, eraser, and ruler. Calculators are provided by Savonia UAS; personal calculators are not permitted.

### Bachelor of Health Care, Registered Nurse
*   **Location:** Microkatu campus, Kuopio.
*   **Format:** Written exam and group interview (both mandatory).
*   **Schedule:** Registration at 8:30 a.m., written exam at 9:00 a.m., group interviews 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
*   **Content:** Written material exam (study skills and evidence-based knowledge) and group interview (motivation, communication skills, and English proficiency).
*   **Requirements:** Valid ID/passport, pencil, and eraser. Calculators are not permitted.

### Bachelor of Hospitality Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management for Immigrants
*   **Location:** Microkatu campus, Kuopio.
*   **Format:** Written exam and group interview (both mandatory).
*   **Schedule:** Registration at 8:30 a.m., written exam at 9:00 a.m., group interviews 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
*   **Content:** Reading comprehension (multiple choice), writing task (career plans/goals), mathematical-logical questions (multiple choice), and group interview (motivation, suitability, and English proficiency).
*   **Requirements:** Valid ID/passport, pencil, and eraser. Calculators are not permitted.

## Admission and Enrollment
*   **Acceptance:** Admitted students receive an acceptance letter by email.
*   **Confirmation:** Study place must be confirmed within 7 days of acceptance.
*   **Tuition Fees:** If applicable, fees must be paid within 14 days of acceptance.
*   **Start Dates:**
    *   Registered Nurse: 31 August 2026.
    *   All other Bachelor programmes: 1 September 2026.
*   **Registration:** Students must register as present or absent by 31 August 2026.
