Objectives | The student is able to - Identify the significance of nutritional health, threats and psychosocial links - Describe nutritional recommendations and special diets - Analyse the importance of nutrition and healthy lifestyle to wellbeing - Advise and support clients on nutrition issues - Understands the governing legislation of medical care and the basis of medication of the most common diseases - Know different pharmaceutical forms, administration routes of medication, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics - Implement safe administration of medication |
Content | - Nutritional recommendations and public health - Healthy nutrition, special diets, food poisoning, hygienic work practices, personal hygiene and sanitation, own supervision of hygiene and related legislation - Special nutritional issues in the field of social work - Regulations governing medical treatment, medical treatment in outpatient and institutional care, medical treatment of people of different ages, pharmaceutical forms and labelling, administration routes, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, appropriate use of medicaments, safety and responsibility in medical treatment, adverse reactions of medicaments, drug calculations |
