Master degree programme of Global Public Health profile is composed of following competences
The Master’s Programme is based on combination of management, leadership, modern working ways in advanced global public health environments, especially both in Human Security and One Health framework. The core disciplines of public health, such as advanced health promotion and prevention, sustainable health policy, and epidemiology, are studied. Students develop their expertise in global dynamics studying topics including elements e.g inequalities, migration, disasters, climate change. The studies will be realized in close connection with working life. The learning process in Master Programme is built on a concept called OIS. The letters stand for Open Innovation Space. The concept combines worklife-oriented learning and research and development activities supporting it. The focus is on creation and deepening of the connections between students and working life so that it is possible for every student to become familiar with the jobs and tasks in a particular field.
