Objectives | Student - knows One Health approach in global context - understands humans coexist in a complex, interdependent relationship (with the companion, production, and wild animals) - understands the relations between (food, livelihoods and well-being, with the working and living environments) - is able to identify transmissible diseases (zoonoses) from animals to humans through direct contact or though food, water, and the environment - understands antimicrobial resistance in human pathogens impacted by use of antibiotics in animal husbandry and agriculture. |
