| Objectives | The student iis familiar with -the acts, decrees and other instructions regulating pharmacological treatment -the nurse’s responsibilities and duties related to the implementation of pharmacological treatment -the basic concepts of pharmacological treatment, administration routes and pharmaceutical forms -the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of medication administered through different routes -the factors affecting the drug response, adverse reactions and drug interactions -identifies the mechanism of action of the most common medicaments -names the main stages of the pharmacological treatment process -is able to use the electronic databases of pharmacological treatment -becomes familiar with safe medication administration -is familiar with principles of the intravenous fluid and medication administration and is able to administer them under supervision -is able to dispense medication faultlessly -is able to administer injections under supervision -masters accurate drug calculations -learns to document medication |
