The student is familiar with the contamination risks associated with sample handling and is able to handle the sample so as to minimize its change prior to analysis. The student understands the importance of calibration of measuring devices and documentation of a sampling event (measurement event) for the traceability of a measurement result. With regard to the result, the student has the ability to compare it with the reference values and interpret the correctness of the result. In addition to sampling and field measurements, students will become acquainted with, for example, open-flow measurement and other commonly used methods of determining the state of the environment. In addition, students are able to perform water analyzes in the laboratory.
