Objectives | The students get familiar with machine and metal industry’s production methods, their principles and production equipment. The students understand the purpose of different manufacturing processes and know the products manufactured with the different processes. The students know the achieved accuracies and surface roughness through different manufacturing processes, and understand the factors related to the chosen manufacturing method. The students become familiar with the basic structure of CNC-machines and their programming. The students understand the importance of measuring and assembly technologies in the manufacturing of machine components. |
