Content | Circuits and Systems (DC Circuits): Circuit variables and elements, Symbols, Basic concepts and solving methods of direct current circuits, Application of Kirchhoff’s laws. Circuit analysis: Node-Voltage Method, Mesh-Current Method, Source Transformations, Thevenin and Norton Equivalents, Maximum Power Transfer, Superposition Method, The operational amplifier. AC Circuits: Contents of capacitance, inductance, and mutual inductance. Sinusoidal voltage and current Circuit analysis with differential equations, sinusoidal equations, ant phases. Impedance. Problem solving with phases. |
Requirements | Exam 1 in October 40 % Exam 2 in December 40 % Homework 20 % Homework problems will be given each week, return the following week. |
