|Objectives||After completion of the course the student is able to perform laboratory analyses related to combustion of a fuel, is further able to use flue gas analyzers for analyzing the combustion and calculate the indirect boiler efficiency and the emissions from the combustion based on this.|
|Content||Heating value and moisture definition of a fuel, unburned content of the fuel ash, flue gas analyses (O2, CO, CO2, NOx, SO2, CxHy, particles). Lectures related to the content, measurements in the laboratory and in real boiler/power plants.|
