ObjectivesThe goal of this period is to help managers and specialists to plan, implement and sustain state of the art supply chain strategy and operations. Supply chain management includes all the activities to move materials, services, money, and information across the supply chain, in a way, which maximizes the effectiveness of the whole chain. SCM includes coordination and collaboration with channel partners, suppliers, intermediaries, third party service providers, and customers.

The period presents the mission, coordination of value adding business processes and activities with and across marketing, sales, product design, finance, and strategies needed to achieve superior performance and competitiveness by integrated supply chain management.
