# Multipro study program - Savonia AMK

> Multipro is a Savonia UAS study programme offering courses in English in the fields of agriculture, natural resources and social services.

## Program Overview
*   **Timing:** 7.1. – 6.4.2025 (90 days)
*   **Language of teaching:** English
*   **For whom?** Bachelor level exchange students in Social Services, Nursing and Agriculture from Savonia’s partner universities
*   **Place:** Iisalmi Campus, Savonia UAS
*   **What?** MultiPro is an international Bachelor level multidisciplinary study module
*   **Study modes:** Lectures, teamwork, eLearning, traineeship and project studies

## Curriculum and Teaching
MultiPro students can select studies from three different degree programmes. The curriculum contains core and specialised studies. The core studies are multidisciplinary and offered for all the MultiPro students regardless the field of study. You can select professional studies according to your interest and study field.

Teaching methods include:
*   Lectures
*   Teamwork
*   eLearning (Moodle platform)
*   Project studies
*   Excursions

The students present the results of their learning outcomes in the MultiPro final seminar. MultiPro can also include a traineeship / placement period.

## Student Support and Campus Life
At Savonia Iisalmi, tutoring and student guidance help students in various practical matters to ease the study process. The supervisor of the MultiPro group, tutors, and lecturers guide all exchange students. Tutors assist with completing necessary forms and finding leisure time and social activities.

*   **Accommodation:** Savonia does not have a student dormitory. You can rent a flat or a room from private companies or flat owners. Please contact Agnieszka Laherto for assistance.
*   **Campus:** There are about 1,000 students and over 80 staff members on the Savonia Iisalmi campus.
*   **Location:** Iisalmi is a town of 20,000 inhabitants surrounded by lakes, located approximately 100 kilometres north of Kuopio.
