| Objectives | The student is able to -observe the legislation, decrees and official instructions concerning health care in Finland and promote patient safety in his or her work -analyse the factors related to examination, monitoring and maintenance of a patient’s vital functions -implement infection control methods and practices in perioperative nursing and assess the problems caused by the lack of infection control -apply knowledge when preparing and mentoring a patient for surgical treatment: apply knowledge in surgical and anaesthetic nursing and in postoperative nursing care -implement safe administration of medication, fluid therapy and blood transfusion -assess the significance of multi-professional co-operation in perioperative nursing care -can write a CV, and create infograph and video CV |
