Objectives | Upon completing the course, the graduates - are aware of the importance of digitalization - are aware of the value of XR technologies in the different field of expertise - have profound knowledge of the basic fields of XR: virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) - know use, limitations and future potential of XR - know basis of software development, methods and best practices - know how to create virtual tours (e.g. Thinglink and Matterport) - know main techniques used in XR: e.g. game engines (Unity, Unreal engine), Programming languages (C++, C#), 3D modelling (Blender, 3DsMax/Rhino) and how those technologies are used in XR development - know main VR and smart glasses used in XR (e.g. Hololens, Vuzix) and know use, limitations and future potential of them |
