| Objectives | Students will gain deep understanding of 1. The ethical tension between business, society and environment. 2. Driving change towards sustainability in big emitting industries beyond process and product innovations. 3. Energy, sustainability and CO2 storage challenges and solutions. 4. Strategic sustainability thinking using backcasting method. 5. Ethics and Artificial Intelligence in business and engineering decisions. In addition students will gain competence to manage these technological, economical, and ethical challenges in student’s future career. |

Ethics and Artificial Intelligence in business and engineering decisions. |
| Requirements | The student shall participate group discussions and company visits. He/she will develop his/her skill in an international team in a learning café. He/she shall prepare individual short essays of chosen subjects and a learning diary. He/she shall participate in a team project and project seminar and write a peer evaluation of projects. Course implementation: 1. Preliminary essay before start-up. 2. Course start-up seminar afternoon. 3. E-learning and blended learning by social media and Moodle. 4. Close-up week meetings in March/April with excursion, quest lecturers and project seminars. Implementation of the course is mainly virtual. |
