| Description | ATLANTIS directly addresses the priorities of the Interregional Innovation Investments (I3) Instrument by promoting interregional cooperation, strengthening innovation ecosystems, and accelerating the commercialisation and deployment of market-ready technologies. The project supports smart specialisation strategies through investments in advanced water technologies, environmental monitoring, and underwater robotics, while fostering collaboration between regions with complementary expertise and innovation capacities.
The project contributes to regional competitiveness, sustainable growth, and the green transition by facilitating technology uptake, creating new business opportunities, and improving the capacity of European regions to develop and deploy innovative water solutions. Through cross-regional demonstration activities and ecosystem building, ATLANTIS helps transform research and innovation results into economic and societal impact. Savonia contributes to these priorities by providing piloting environments, water-sector expertise, and links to regional stakeholders and SMEs, enabling innovation validation, demonstration, and wider adoption within the European water sector. |
