| Description | The Future Forest - Pathways to Climate-Resilient Forest Management project develops an interactive and scalable communication and learning model for forest owners, forestry students and forest sector professionals. The project supports climate-resilient, responsible and site-specific forest management by combining physical forest management trails, virtual trails, visual learning materials, a digital material bank, podcasts, case videos and dialogue-based peer learning. The project demonstrates practical forest management alternatives related to regeneration, forest damage prevention, mixed forests, peatland forest management, rotation length and fertilisation. The results will be tested in pilot sites and integrated into education, advisory services and forest owner networks to support long-term use and wider dissemination. |
