Objectives | The student is able to: -describe the significance of research data and of the paradigm of field-specific science in the development of expertise and practical work -explain the principles, stages and progress of RDI work -retrieve information from the most important field-specific databases and assess the validity of the information -describe the data collection methods, data analysis processes and reporting methods in RDI work -utilise research and evidence based information in his or her work and in developing the social and health care -evaluate assignment and scientific research reports -apply the principles of academic writing and reporting |
Content | Paradigm and its importance in the field-specific practical work, development and research. The principles, stages and progress of RDI work. The principles of information retrieval and the most important field-specific databases. The most important data collection methods, data analysis processes and reporting methods in RDI work. The utilisation of research and evidence based information one’s own work and in developing the social and health care. The assessment of RDI work. The principles of academic writing and reporting. |
