ContentEthical principles and base, the Act on the Status and Rights of Patients, the Act on Health Care Professionals. Factors related to legal protection for employees. Basic concepts of oral health care, process thinking underlying the work structuring. The professional groups and cooperation partners in oral health care. Expertise areas and operational environments of an oral hygienist. Internship in oral health care. Oral and dental health care concepts. Oral health care environment. RequirementsActive participation in contact lessons, completion of assignments, exams including the websites of Duodecim and the National Institute for Health and Welfare. Semi-annual assessment of the development of skills and competence. PLE (personal learning environment).
