Objectives | The student • is familiar with the ethical principles and base of health care • understands the laws, decrees and regulations governing oral health care • is able to explain health care-related data security and data protection requirements and follow them in his or her work • is able to explain the basic concepts of oral health care and the process thinking principles guiding the work • is able to explain the expertise areas and operational environments of an oral hygienist • knows the professional groups and cooperation partners in oral health care • understands and uses the basic concepts of oral and dental health care • is able to record the status in an electronic patient data system following the documentation procedures • follows the principles of asepsis in the work and when maintaining the environment • understands the morphology of teeth |
