Basis of Education
The Degree Programme in Construction Management leads to a Bachelor degree in engineering, the degree title being Bachelor of Engineering (BA). The scope of the studies is 210 credits and the duration is 3.5 years. The skills produced by the degree correspond to the level of higher education defined jointly in the European Union, which enables the movement of labor and experts.
The aim of the Construction Management education is to equip the student to work in construction site management positions. In addition, the graduate will be qualified to work as a responsible foreman in construction work in accordance with the Land Use and Construction Act. The duties of a construction manager consist of versatile and practical production management and work management tasks in the building construction industry. Tasks include various management tasks, such as quality, occupational safety, cost and schedule management, control of planning during work, organization of work and deliveries, and site procurement.
The degree studies focus on new and renovation construction production, such as planning and supervision of production on a building construction site, as well as construction project management. In addition to their studies, students gain the skills to work extensively in various tasks in the construction industry, including infrastructure construction sites. The student acquires the ability to develop his / her professional skills in a variety of positions in the field.
