| Description | The Government's local food program aims to strengthen co-operation between local food operators and enhance the development of the sector. This is targeted to local food, which promotes the local economy, employment and foodculture of the area.
The main objective of the development project Gastronomic Tourism Business Competence is to strengthen the cooperation of local food business operators in line with the objectives of the local food program and to improve the development of the sector. The project develops the expertise of responsible food tourism in the food, tourism, welfareand creative industries. The project relates to the recognition of the European Region of Gastronomy 2020 (ERG) in the North Savo region, which brings visibility and tourists from Finland and abroad. Project activities will enable companies to access the European Region of Gastronomy logo for their communications. The long-term goal is to build continuity in the development of responsible food tourism. Raising the gastronomic level of the area already promotes this development. |
| Partners | Hanketta toteuttavat yhteistyössä Savonia-amk, ProAgria Pohjois ja SavoGrow.
Hankkeen pääkohderyhmä ja näin myös hyötyjä on alueelliset ruoka- matkailu- ja luovien alojen yritykset ja hankkeet. Hankkeessa tehdään yhteistyötä valtakunnallisella tasolla useiden eri toimijoiden kanssa, sillä tavoitteiden toteutuminen vaatii verkostoitumista valtakunnallisesti mm. poliittisten päättäjien ja virkamiesten kanssa. Hankkeen välillisenä kohderyhmänä ovat matkailutuotteita ja -palveluja käyttävät kuluttajat, jotka hyötyvät uusista laadukkaammista ja vastuullisesti tuotetuista gastromatkailutuotteista ja -palveluista. Lisäksi hankkeen välillinen kohderyhmä/hyödynsaaja ovat pohjoissavolaiset kunnat, jotka hyötyvät kehittyvästä kuntataloudesta ja matkailualan kehittymisestä. Tärkein yhteistyökumppanimme kansainvälisellä tasolla on IGCAT, International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Art and Tourism. |
