UAS degree through open UAS
Becoming a degree student through path studies
Open university path studies offer an alternative route to becoming a degree student. You can apply to be a degree student in Savonia’s separate application once you have completed at least 30 ECTS of Path studies at Savonia open UAS. Completed open UAS studies are credited towards the degree.
The scope of path studies is 30 credits and the right to study is one semester, 6 months. As an UAS path student, you study first semester studies with a group of degree students.
There is no basic education requirement for UAS path studies, but aptitude for some fields of study is required (e.g. music and dance and architecture). Path study places are available for almost all degree programs and the offering varies every year. The limited number of study places are filled in order of registration. Transferred credits can’t be included in path studies.
