DescriptionThe project goal is to catalyse high-quality development of youth aftercare services in Northern Savo region. The
provision of an effective aftercare service aims to support the youth´s professional carrier, inclusion in the market labor and employment, which equally support the improvement of the regional vitality, attractiveness and regional economy. The importance of supporting young people in the aftercare service have a huge impact in preventing factors of marginalization such as mental health problems among others.

The aims of the project are to
1) strengthen the involvement of young people (18-25 years old) in services development in a digital society context;

2) develop aftercare work methods, work culture and services to pilot them with the partners of the service network. The services can be in-person services, technology-assisted services and fully online services

and

3) Build quality criteria for aftercare services in a multifunctional way.
To improve the effectiveness of the aftercare service, the project will define the challenges of child welfare aftercare, analyze and develop the quality and impact criteria of the services, and define the roles of the key players in the service system. The starting point is based on the young people welfare condition receiving aftercare services, the proven effective methods to assist youth people independent path and the child welfare impact assessment information used for service management.

The results of the project are:
1) An active involvement of young adult (about 30) using aftercare services that will support their daily coping skills, work and function in the society.
2) A structural model of aftercare services (face-to-face services, technology-assisted services and fully digitized
services)
3) Quality and effectiveness model for aftercare services that includes a developed impact assessment criterion with best available solutions for aftercare work.

Kohderyhmänä, johon toimintaa kohdistuu hankkeessa, ovat jälkihuollon työntekijät. Yhteistyökumppanina / hyödynsaajina ovat jälkihuoltopalveluja tuottavat tahot (mm. palvelua tuottavat lastensuojeluyritykset). Loppuhyödynsaajina ovat aikuistuvat jälkihuoltonuoret (18-25-vuotiaat), joille tarjotaan jälkihuollon palveluja.
