| Description | The project carries out export partner group to promote sustainable mining knowledge and technology export to
developing countries, to the rapidly developing market. The project familiarizes the North Savo SMEs to sustainable mining rules, helps create sustainable mining value networks, and provides methods for creating business partnerships in mine host communities in developing countries. The main target of export partner group is Zambia and there Copperbelt mine area, which is part of the world's largest copper-producing area. Other countries are Namibia, Mozambique and South Africa. Results of the project for companies are export partner group for sustainable mining value networks and established business partnerships in developing countries. These partnerships have increased the ability to provide products and services related to mining activities and links to other business and infrastructure development. Project increase companies ability to promote industrial sustainability because companies needs the business opportunities that will be created in the transition to a sustainable economy. |
