DescriptionThe aim of the project is to improve utilization and commercialization of bioelectrodes for human and animal use. It
combines local players in this field: University of Eastern Finland, University of Applied Sciences, Kuopio University
Hospital, companies. The aim is to focus on bottlenecks in the development such as reliable electrode-skin interface
by using novel materials and biomaterial techniques. The application field has global challenges and grows steadily in spite of recession. The project is very cost efficient and utilises effectively existing know-how, equipment and facilities of different partners. Results will be utilized in companies as well as in education and development in research groups and hospital.
