| Objectives | The student has the ability to - identify and name the most common types of cancer and their treatments - explain the radiotherapy treatments for the most common types of cancer - explain radiotherapy as part of a cancer patient’s holistic care - describe the guidance and counselling for radiotherapy patient and explain the side effects of radiotherapy and their prevention and treatment - explain the main principles of radiation dose planning - apply the principles of radiation protection and quality management to the radiotherapy process and work according to them |
