Objectives	The students can critically interpret research results and are prepared to resolve research problems. The students understand the significance of statistics in empirical research, learn to use statistical programmes in research work and can look for research data in their own professional area.
Content	Stages ofthe research process and the terminology associated with them. Conducting a small scale quantitative research from planning to report. Basic concepts of statistics and presentation of the examined data. Data processing using SPSS programme.
Requirements	Conduct of a quantitative research from plan to report. Personal learning diary. 1/3 based on the study plan, 1/3 based on the study report, 1/3 based on the learning diary
