| Objectives | The student - is able to identify and analyze their own relationship and attitudes towards substance abuse, and their ability to work in drug abuse - knows the laws governing drug addiction in Finland and other guidelines that support it - Identifies and understands the addiction phenomenon as an individual, community, and social issue - recognizes the need for preventive work and early intervention in social work and can address the challenges of substance abuse in support of individuals and families as well as well-being. - knows the Finnish substance abuse service system and is able to work as part of a multi-professional cooperation network - is able to guide and support customers and families using substance abuse work methods |
