| Objectives | The student will receive comprehensive overview of environmentally friendly bioeconomy solutions and are able to apply their knowledge to solve problems related to bioeconomy sector. |
| Content | • Introduction • Presentation of challenges for students group works • Orientation to project works • Lectures (with assignments) e.g. - Sustainable and socially responsible use of natural resources - Novel biorefining possibilities - Soil improvement and circular fertilizer products - Possibilities to utilize ash as such or purified by proper processing for fertilizers and earth construction materials - Environmentally friendly combustion technologies - Regional bioenergy solution (technical solution, biofuel supply chain management) - Technological and economic feasibility • Supervised group works related to educational and RDI • Presentations of group works, |
| Requirements | Lectures, web studies, case presentations, assignments, workshops, group tasks, supervised group tasks, presentation of group work results 20.9.-1.10.2021 - The course will be opened in Moodle for introduction 01.09.2021. - Students should registrate by 01.09.2021 in order to be accepted. - The assignments given for students is recommended to return by 23.09.2021, but latest these should be returned by 30.9.2021. - The course will be evaluated when the given assignments are returned. |
